I'm really slow at getting anything up in here even though I started fleshing it out some weeks ago. I'm a holder of mainly conservative views; I'm Christian, passionately pro-life (although I recognize that issue does often transcend beliefs, politics, ect) and a supporter of pro-family policies and legislation. I'm also possibly more passionate about animal welfare than some conservatives (note that doesn't mean the radical animal rights movement).
I'll mostly be posting thoughts on various topics and issues and occasionally spotlighting different groups.
I don't yet know how often I'll be updating this blog or how good it'll really be. I don't have any fancy degrees or doctorates, and I'm not an expert on anything. I'm just someone who wants to talk about my viewpoints and maybe present some kind of refuge from the mocking and insulting that conservative Christians so often get in the world today. I'm personally fed up because people should know enough not to disrespect other people. They'd quickly get annoyed at people making fun of them, so they should give us the same respect.
That ties into my blog's reply policy. I'm not going to delete comments soley for disagreeing with me. It's not fair as a blog owner to suppress disagreement or turn this into a shrine of worship of my ideas. What I won't tolerate is acting like a moron. Name calling, insulting, personal attacks, derrogatory(sp?) remarks, flames, flame bating, mockery and degrading of others won't be tolerate. If you're going to reply, I ask that it's in a way that's civil, intelligent and thought out. Most blog readers should be old enough to write replies that are civil and sound like a rational adult wrote them rather than an annoying kid. I do my best to respect others and get along with them, and though I may get angry or passionate, I will not lower myself to childish behavior and I just want the same courtesy.
